I just wanted to write you and tell you what a positive experience we had at Flamingo Marina. The way Eduardo handled my daughter's instruction with all intent to instruct my daughter to learn to enjoy diving and gain diving skills has me astounded. Your whole staff Andy, Hannah, and David were so friendly and helpful, it made our trip the best diving experience in my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and please pass this along to the guys.

Liked the boat and divemaster Joseph. We had a good small group of divers and Catalina was awesome. Saw sharks for the first time and saw a school of 20 eagle rays. Liked rock formations, star fish, other schools of fish and just the whole experience. Despite lower visibilities than I am used to, this was one of my top 5 dives.

Sweet dives!

We saw every fish on the card including several huge rays, a guitar shark, a marlin and a bunch of dolphins!

BLUE FLAG PROGRAM
Ana from Aquacenter Diving has been the coordinator of the Flamingo Blue Flag Program. The program includes various clean up days during the year, a dengue spray campaign and environmental education programs. The goal is to have a clean Flamingo beach, build awareness in the community and be a sustainable developing town. Thanks to the Flamingo Association, local businesses, residents, Potrero school children and volunteers.

SHARKS AND RAYS COUNT
For three years we have registered the sightings of sharks and rays in the Catalina Islands Area, just offshore Flamingo Beach. Hopefully it will help wider studies to get a better understanding of their behavior and population.

Our nudibranch, shark and fish ID specialists have let us enjoy and love more and more our underwater environment. We invite you to join us and learn about the magic creatures of our costarrican sea.
